My argument for the afterlife

This is a WIP, the articles defending some of the assumptions made here have not necessarily been created yet

I originally came up with this while bored in class, my original idea was much more sophisticated but I neglected to write it down so this is my lame attempt
at recreating the ideas I had

Please keep in mind that I am in no way qualified in philosophy and I have little knowledge of the field, this is just a justification I came up with a while ago

Assumptions :

All that exists can be understood with reason alone (hypothetically by an infinitively smart being that is, not necessarily by humans)

A real material reality exists

Those are actually the only assumptions we need for now* (there is going to be a big assumption soon but it doesn't belong here as it is not an axiom but rather can be derived)

If it is the case that all that exists can be understood with rational inquiry alone then how can death of the mind exist?

More accurately, how can the death of the personal conscious experience exist? It is here assumed to be impossible to comprehend (this will be justified better in another article)

Now evidently you can see other people die and they can see you die so we must distinguish between the experience of dying and actually dying

It is then so that the experience of being dead doesn't exist but the death does exist

quick justification for the claim that one cannot comprehend their own nonexistence

The mind can comprehend two types of information, that which is external (experienced with the senses) and that which is internal ie logic
this I claim is also all that exists, that which is external to you, and that which is internal to you, however you only experience an internal representation of the external world
when for an example see a butterfly, you do not see the real object of the butterfly but rather the internal representation of that butterfly, that is, there exists an entirely separate realm independent of the external reality, this is what we call the subjective experience. The subjective experience requires for it to exist the subject, and as such it would be nonsensical for the subjective realm to contain the death of that subject.

one may now object, "If the subjective realm requires the subject, then how can the subjective experience remain after the death of the subject?"

And this is where we split the subjective experience from the external world, it must be the case if we want to remain consistent that somehow the subjective experience is independent of the material external reality, the subjective experience cannot be purely the creation of materia as that would contradict the premises, therefore the mind must by some means be independent of the body, or at least able to exist independently

A bit of a problem is found however, what about the subjective experiences of other people? The cop-out is to either become a solipsist or to abandon this philosophy, but I'm not a quitter so let's try to fix this, well the simplest solution is to state that the individual experiences their own existence and as such comprehends it and as such it exists
but this has the issue of assuming that the person has a subjective experience to experience itself, I don't actually have a good solution to this yet, please send me one if you come up with one.
